Fun World Mask Suggested Price Guide

After the appreciation of our Scream Mask Suggested Price Guide, collectors have asked us to do the same for Fun World’s other offerings. With so many characters, molds, and styles produced over the years it can be difficult to navigate the market alone. We hope our guide can serve as a primer of what to expect. Though these prices are just recommendations, they’re based on observations of sales and our knowledge of the mask market. We’ve done our best to portray the current market accurately and will update over time. We encourage all to do their own research and come to their own conclusions. For the sake of this introductory guide I'm using the premise that a mask is untagged and in good condition.

Tips & advice:

  • Learn the various characters, stamps, variants, and production styles

  • Ask a community leader or friend before purchasing if you are unsure

  • If you see a mask you like but can't afford, try to negotiate the price (many sellers are uneducated flippers who are not informed on their mask or value)

  • Be careful competing with 'shill bidders' and auction hijackers (sock accounts with low feedback who hike prices with no intention of paying)

  • A listed price is not necessarily what a mask is worth. Review sold listings to make informed decisions.

What reasons could a mask cost MORE than our guide?

  • Mint condition; very clean white face

  • Original header card is attached (possibly double in value)

  • Exceptionally nice or distinct facial shape

  • Flat streamers or perfect shroud

  • Heightened competition in the moment

What reasons could a mask cost LESS than our guide?

  • Damage; yellowing, discoloration, stains, cut out pieces, rips and tears

  • Bad odor

  • Visible writing in marker or pen (inside or outside)

  • Poor paint quality

  • Alterations; re-shrouds, re-painted, or re-tagged

  • Warped or distorted face

  • If a mask is an alternate mold (like HN, MK, or TD) it will be worth less than its standard counterpart
