Fans have known these two Fun World ghost masks by the names 'Fang' and 'Viper'. An interesting discovery recently came about: the names have been reversed.

Brigitte Sleiertin-Linden, the original designer of what we have been calling 'Fang', disclosed to me that she originally named her mask 'Viper' and that we had the names reversed. I wasn't sure what to make of this, until a new name tag discovery that confirmed Brigitte was correct. What we have been referring to as 'Fang' is in fact 'Viper'. Frank McGovern agreed, and told me he use to refer to his mask as the 'Fang' ghost. At some point Fun World flipped the names, probably when the Dead by Daylight video game introduced their new "ViperFace".
